About this Project
Max Birt Sawmills (MBS) consists of over 120 staff at 2 locations in the North Island , Ohinewai and Pokeno. They produce and stock large volumes of timber at MBS Pokeno and MBS Ohinewai sites.
MBS wanted a web based ecommerce system for their clients that allowed them to view and place orders, bypassing the previous manual systems. The system needed to be user friendly for customers who traditionally had limited experience of web based ordering systems.
The system features:
- Pricing per product per user
- The site interfaces with the internal stock database (Custom API/data integration)
- A customised e-Commerce experience to suit products and client requirements. There is a custom order reporting screen which interfaces with internal logistics and stock tracking.
- A customised product search experience, feedback interface and reporting.
Zest delivered a full solution, including design, development, support and maintenance.
